At Aerial Recovery, we recognize that animals are integral to our lives and well-being. Since 2017, we have committed ourselves to the dual mission of rescuing both humans and animals from crisis situations. Often, people will not evacuate their homes or leave situations of abuse without their beloved pets, and when they do, many animals are left behind, creating additional layers of distress. Every life holds inherent value, and every creature deserves a chance to thrive in a safe and loving environment.

REDEMPTION RANCH, BVI
Redemption Ranch serves as a sanctuary for rescue horses, ponies, and zebras that were all abandoned, abused, or discarded.
They have all undertaken their own healing journeys and are now being used to heal people going through their own struggles – including the Heroes of our Heal the Heroes Initiative, survivors of human trafficking and abuse, and to aid children with special needs.
Equine Therapy is one of the most effective therapies in the world. Visitors not only get to interact with these beautiful creatures but many times find their own worthiness through hearing their stories of redemption.
SUPPORTING VULNERABLE YOUTH
Indy’s Redemption Ranch was named in honor of a little girl who defied the odds. Born at just 24 weeks, doctors said Indy would never walk, talk, or see. But today, she does all of those things while living with cerebral palsy, embodying our motto: “One person’s opinion of you does not have to become your future.”
Equine therapy offers profound benefits for children with special needs, such as improving physical coordination, enhancing social skills, and fostering emotional growth. Our special needs children’s programs are designed to help children regulate their emotions, build confidence, and thrive in their development. We use equine therapy to provide a unique, powerful form of healing.
Our horses, once abandoned and rescued, have been rehabilitated and now serve as healers, creating a bond with children who have faced similar struggles. The connection between the child and horse helps build trust, empathy, and a sense of accomplishment, empowering each child to achieve milestones and overcome barriers. At Indy’s Redemption Ranch, we don’t just support growth; we celebrate transformation.
