It's been an extraordinary year of missions that have changed lives.We’ve been on the ground in disaster areas like Cebu, Philippines, responding to the Texas floods, and now traversing hurricane ravaged Jamaica, bringing aid, starting the recovery process and protecting the innocent.
Our teams have worked alongside international law enforcement partners to rescue trafficking victims, dismantle criminal networks, and bring hope to those who had been told escape was impossible.
And it was all possible because of the support of people like you. Together, we have accomplished so much. But, there is still a lot to do.
Saturday night, we'll hear from DEA legend Steve Murphy, the agent who helped bring down Pablo Escobar and whose story inspired the hit series Narcos. His insights into fighting transnational crime will remind us all why this work matters, and why we can't stop now.
And the evening doesn't stop there. We're honored to welcome an incredible lineup of music legends who are lending their talents to this mission: Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Chris DeStefano, actor and singer Charles Esten (star of "Nashville"), respected songwriter and performer Jesse Lee, and award-winning songwriter Jon Nite. These artists are using their voices and their platforms to stand with us in the fight against trafficking and to honor the courage of survivors.
