Far too often, survivors of trafficking and abuse are forced to relive their trauma again and again as they retell their story to multiple authorities in the pursuit of justice. The process needs to get better, and we know an effective tool to help.
We believe the justice process should not retraumitize, but should also be the first step in the healing process.
And so, we have been asked to bring 12 Survivor Advocacy Rooms to life.
Survivor Advocacy Rooms are safe, trauma-informed spaces where survivors only have to tell their story once. Their recorded testimony can then be used throughout the investigate and judicial process, helping secure justice while protecting survivors from unneeded relived trauma and allowing the healing process to begin.
ð Each room is:
â¢â â Beautifully designed to feel safe and calm
â¢â â Equipped with high-grade recording technology
â¢â â A sacred space for dignity, healing, and justice
ð Real Impact:
â¢â â 100-300 lives touched per room per month
â¢â â Generational cycles of abuse broken
â¢â â Stronger prosecutions and convictions
â¢â â Survivors are seen, safe, and believed
ðToday is the first day a survivor advocacy room has been renovated ð
We have requests for 10 more in Peru, 1 in Honduras, and 1 in Argentina.
Each room costs $35,000 to fully restore. Sponsors will have their name honored on the outside of the room, leaving a legacy of hope for generations.
This is more than a donation: it is a statement that every survivor deserves to be heard and fought for.
ð We need sponsors now to make these rooms a reality. Together, we can give survivors a place to tell their truth once, with dignity, peace, and power.
