HURRICANE IAN

Aerial Recovery deployed a SOAR Team to Ft. Myers, Florida and Cuba following Hurricane Ian’s landfall in each area.

Over the course of a month, the team was able to conduct search and rescue, provide medical relief, distribute aid, and repair homes in the Ft. Myers area.

While on the ground in Florida, the team was able to conduct 258 search and rescue missions, 197 health and wellness checks, evacuate 65 people in flooded areas, distribute aid to 1,068 people, and tarp 16 roofs for people who had lost theirs. During the 1 week deployment to Cuba, the team was able to distribute much-needed medical supplies.

While on the ground in Cuba, the team was able to provide medicine for 27,129 people distributed through our Cuban Red Cross partnership.
